Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email address — when you join the list or create an account. It's used to send you the newsletter, sign-in links, and membership emails. We tag how you signed up (e.g. "homepage", "calculator") so we know what's working.
• Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We see subscription status and billing history.
• Saved plans and planner targets — your calorie/protein/meal preferences and the plans you save, stored so the product works.
• Usage events — anonymous, first-party counts of things like "a plan was generated" or "a plan was saved", plus a random browser identifier. No third-party ad trackers, no cross-site tracking, no data sales — ever.
• Server logs — standard web-server logs (IP, URL, timestamp), kept briefly for security and debugging.

Who processes it

We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Ghost (self-hosted, our own server — memberships and email list), Stripe (payments), and Mailgun (email delivery). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. Our servers are hosted in the EU (Hetzner, Germany).

Emails

Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts) are sent only when you trigger them.

Your data, your call

You can unsubscribe, update your email, or cancel your membership yourself at your account. To have your account and saved plans permanently deleted, use the contact form (topic "Delete my data") or email support@trythisfuel.com from the address on the account and we'll delete everything within 30 days (billing records are retained as required by tax law). Same address for access/export requests.

Cookies

We set only functional cookies: your sign-in session and a random identifier for anonymous usage counts. No advertising cookies, so no cookie banner theater.

Children

The service isn't directed at children under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
