1. What TryThisFuel is

TryThisFuel provides recipes, meal-planning tools, and email newsletters. Everything on this site is general food information — not medical, dietetic, or treatment advice. Macro and calorie figures are estimates based on USDA data and typical ingredients; your actual results will vary. Consult a qualified professional before making dietary changes, especially if you have a medical condition, allergy, or are pregnant or nursing. You are responsible for checking ingredients against your own allergies and restrictions.

2. Accounts

Accounts use passwordless magic-link sign-in tied to your email address. You're responsible for keeping access to that email secure. One account per person; don't share sign-in links.

3. Membership, billing & cancellation

• Free members get the daily recipe email, the planner, and up to 2 saved plans.
• Founding members pay $8/month (or $80/year), locked for as long as the subscription stays active, billed through Stripe.
• Cancel anytime, yourself, in two clicks: go to your account → Manage subscription → Cancel. No emails, no phone calls, no retention hoops. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then simply stops renewing.
• Refunds: if something went wrong — a double charge, a billing error, or you cancelled and were still charged — email support@trythisfuel.com and we'll make it right. Otherwise, payments already made for a completed billing period aren't refunded.
• Cancelling and re-joining later may mean losing the founding price — the lock applies to an uninterrupted subscription.

4. Acceptable use

Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute the recipe database or generated plans; don't abuse the API or interfere with the service. Plans and recipes are for your personal (or household) use.

5. Changes and availability

We may update features, prices for new members, and these terms; material changes will be announced by email or on the site. The service is provided "as is" — we work hard to keep it up, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
